New Music: CARRY LYANNE (@CarryLyanne) - Nothing

‘Nothing’ is the haunting new single from CARRY LYANNE

Following the local support of her track India, Carry Lyanne experiments with a new world of sounds and visuals.  Featuring ‘Stranger Things'-inspired synths, electric guitars and airy vocals, Nothing is the first track from her debut EP Life (available on digital platforms January 12th).

Written after a tormented relationship of ups and downs with an older musician, Nothing is about falling deeply in love with the wrong person, and that moment when you open your eyes and realize the relationship has come to an end. In contrast with the song, the video is quite cheeky and rather than depicting the pain of unrequited love, it gives the message: ‘Look what you're missing out on!’

For Carry Lyanne the driving force to release an EP came about after her father died two years ago, provoking her to reflect on the meaning of life and explore new themes through her writing. The final result is a deep-flow of emotions: ranging from anger to love; melancholy to happiness.

Originally from Milan, big cities’ lights and nostalgia inspire her sound, which is reminiscent of artists such as Lana Del Rey, Florence & The Machine and London Grammar.

Talk To Me

After wooing the nation as a finalist on The X Factor with a seat on mentor Rita Ora’s team, Kiera has certainly come into her own - so far amassing over 10 million streams across YouTube and Spotify alone. NEW MUSIC: DANIELLE BELLAS (@Danielle_Bellas) - Starship

Just dropped is 'Starship' the new single from DANIELLE BELLAS

It's the first track to be taken from the South East London born R&B singer's debut album which drops in 2018.

Co-written and produced by UK-based production duo Jud Mahoney and Natalie DeLucia, who have worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Brandy and Britney Spears. The track takes it's sample hook from the rare groove classic of the same name by jazz funk legend NORMAN CONNERS (which was also revived in 2001 by the DAZZ BAND and has become an underground R&B classic)

The sound offers a slick pop production featuring big hook-laden choruses and smooth lead vocals, influenced by some of her inspirations from the late 90’s, R&B greats such as Janet Jackson, Aaliyah and Ashanti. The single also boasts an official music video (coming soon), plus a remix from famous Asian music producer, Rishi Rich (Jay Sean, Juggy D)

Although this is her debut release, DANIELLE was filling notepads full of lyrics from a young age and recorded her first single at 16. However, growing up in a home that encouraged education and a steady career over musical creativity meant her musical dreams remained at the sidelines. Whilst recording and performing music in UK girl group Urban Lady, the singer was also studying at University.

In 2013 she decided to up sticks and move to Sydney to try out the Aussie lifestyle, although she often travels back and forth between countries. 2016 saw Bellas quit her corporate life to finally concentrate on music and she started recording solo material, with a plan of action to pursue music in the biggest way possible.

Danielle will be releasing 3 singles over the next few months and plans to travel to the UK and US for live shows to support the release of her album in 2018.

New Music: BOTA (@bota_music) - Special

Out now is 'Special' the new single from rising pop princess BOTA who is aiming to become the first true International star from Kazakhstan (no, Borat does not count)

Starting out as a classical pianist in her home country she moved to London to pursue her dreams and graduated with a Master's degree in music business from the London College of Music.

She has been working on developing her own sound ever since. Alongside her music career, BOTA also takes part in the various creative projects. Her unique Asian look does not go unnoticed. Recently, she has caught attention from the world-famous music band Gorillaz, who featured her as a 'Geisha character' in their latest music video 'Strobelite'.

'Special' is a big old slice of feel good pop with BOTA's unique vocal style (which has been compared to superstar contemporaries such as KYLIE & BRITNEY) underpinning it throughout. From the thumping dynamic piano intro you know she means business and the funky horns (giving a nod to Beyonce's Crazy In Love) with have you hooked. It really IS something 'Special'
