Jeffrey Young, Founder of UK Coffee Week, commented: “The Coffee Music Project is a great way for the two worlds of music and coffee to come together in celebration of UK Coffee Week. The standard every year is superb and every year we struggle to choose just one winner – having seen glimpses of the ten finalists I know we’re in for another tough decision. But whoever wins, the night is about good coffee, good music and raising money for a good cause, so we look forward to welcoming fans through the door to help us along that journey.”

New Music: IRINI MANDO (@IriniMando)-Six In The Morning

"Can't deny it's a vibe... that's what's been gwarning 'til six in the morning"

Independent singer-songwriter IRINI MANDO is back with her first release in a year, the new single “Six In The Morning”.

Written by Irini, the track brings together an impressive line-up. It was produced by Buzzin Productions (Kojo FundsWande CoalElephant ManSkeptaGiggs) and mixed and mastered by Arthur Indrikovs (One DirectionCalvin HarrisClean BanditFlorence + the Machine). The result of such a collaboration is a vibey afro-bashment infused summery pop jam with an undeniable hook. “That's what's been gwarning ‘til six in the morning”, Irini can be heard singing as she recounts the details of a memorable night.

“Six In The Morning” marks the latest chapter in Irini’s burgeoning career, which has gone from strength to strength in the past few years. In 2015 the PRSF-funded singer worked with the Amy Winehouse Foundation and completed the Amy’s Yard programme, delivering the title track of debut EP Pink Noise and single “Hang” along the way, the latter featuring on the Foundation’s first compilation album by Island Records the same year. In 2016 she released follow-up EP Eden, which spawned the VEVO-championed singles “Tide” and “Surfin’ Sky High”, and with plenty of new material written over the past year, as well as exciting collaborations on the horizon, stay tuned for lots more from Irini throughout 2018.

“Six In The Morning” is available to buy/stream now via her own Poppy Red Records. Find all the links here

New Music: FIFI RONG (@FifiRong) - Awake

All round musical talent FIFI RONG returns with a brand new EP this month

'Awake' is the latest collection from the Chinese born, London based singer, songwriter and electronic music producer.

New Music: JEORGIA (@Jeorgiaofficial) - Think Of Me

Think Of Me

Just dropped are the visuals for the incredible new track from 21 year old South Londoner JEORGIA

‘Think Of Me’ brings a old school vocal to the song from the 21 year old that belies her age and has echoes of classic 80's & 90's soul & RnB stars and the stripped back piano only instrumentation only serves to highlight this.

She says “This song is for anyone who has an Ex, its the most thought of thing when a relationship ends, we all wonder about it, but seldom say it , I sung it.’

JEORGIA's incredible vocal ability is unquestionable and the south London native was the one of the first artists to be signed to the recently created Amy Winehouse Management. Having built a loyal following via the release of standout YouTube covers, she also received recognition on Link Up TV where she performed her own renditions of Adele's ‘Someone Like You’ on the hugely popular ‘Behind Barz’ series.
“This song is for anyone who has an Ex, its the most thought of thing when a relationship ends, we all wonder about it, but seldom say it , I sung it.’

New Music: CARRY LYANNE (@CarryLyanne) - Nothing

‘Nothing’ is the haunting new single from CARRY LYANNE

Following the local support of her track India, Carry Lyanne experiments with a new world of sounds and visuals.  Featuring ‘Stranger Things'-inspired synths, electric guitars and airy vocals, Nothing is the first track from her debut EP Life (available on digital platforms January 12th).

Written after a tormented relationship of ups and downs with an older musician, Nothing is about falling deeply in love with the wrong person, and that moment when you open your eyes and realize the relationship has come to an end. In contrast with the song, the video is quite cheeky and rather than depicting the pain of unrequited love, it gives the message: ‘Look what you're missing out on!’

For Carry Lyanne the driving force to release an EP came about after her father died two years ago, provoking her to reflect on the meaning of life and explore new themes through her writing. The final result is a deep-flow of emotions: ranging from anger to love; melancholy to happiness.

Originally from Milan, big cities’ lights and nostalgia inspire her sound, which is reminiscent of artists such as Lana Del Rey, Florence & The Machine and London Grammar.
