Next week singer/songwriter and JUMPINSOUNDS favourite KRISTYNA MYLES returns with her second album 'Paint A Brighter Day'
The new release, the follow up to last year's 'Pinch Me Quick', has been the result of a Pledge Music campaign that not only raised the funds to produce it successor, of which 10% of the total was also donated to Centrepoint (a charity for which Kristyna is an ambassador) but offered fans one of a kind offers such as appearing in one of her videos.
The album is also released on her own label, 'Take Note Recordings', allowing the vocalist full creative control and showcasing the MOBO nominee's mix of soulful inspired breezy pop with elements of jazz and gospel. These are highlighted on the album's first single 'I'm Getting Rid Of This'
Mercury Prize nominated producer Andy Ross has helped created the 11 tracks that make up 'Paint A Brighter Day'. The album has an uplifting theme throughout. Tracks of note include the the jaw-dropping ballad 'Garment Of Shame' and the inspirational 'Heaven Knows' (which KRISTYNA recently performed on BBC's Songs Of Praise')
‘Paint A Brighter Day’ is released on iTunes on 23rd March and you can also visit the Pledge Music page to buy cds and a few remaining special items.
