MISSDEFIANT
133T
MISSDEFIANT are new pop duo about to make their name in the music world with their latest release '133T'
Formed just under a year ago the pair, made up of Emily Rose Adams and Jordan Cather, both have a pedigree in the business that you might not expect. Emily is classically trained in opera as well as being a part time actress, while Jordan has been a model and dancer with the likes of Charli XCX and Years & Years.
Having written together since they met, they have also collaborated with producer Mike Tournier, something of a pioneer in electronic dance music since the late 80's having previously been in bands Fluke and Syntax as well as remixing work from The Rolling Stones, Bjork, Smashing Pumpkins, New Order and many more.
Their combined work has lead to the new single '133T', a pop dance track with strong anthemic qualities (think Icona Pop meets The Saturdays) but most importantly for the girls, it attempts to set out a strong anti-drugs message to those who “get in with the hype” and the glamorisation of drug culture. It might be easy to miss some of this on the original version so MISSDEFIANT have also recorded an acoustic version where you can really listen to the lyrical content.
